I'm currently working at Booz Allen Hamilton as a UX designer and product owner.
I've spent my career building design systems and exploring new ways to improve nuanced user processes.
I create products that respect people's time, attention, and agency, and I treat user needs as requirements, not suggestions.
My mission is to advocate for the needs and goals of the user above all else.
I went to Virginia Tech, where I majored in computer science and minored in human-computer interaction and psychology.
Throughout my diverse range of coursework, I learned to design for how people actually behave, whether I'm mapping a complicated user flow, shaping a design system, or creating an accessible, inclusive interface.
I leverage my technical background to bridge the gap between design and development.
Outside of work, I abuse my New York Times Games subscription and consume any media in the "thriller" genre -
I like a puzzle or plot that makes me work to find the answer.
My ideal day involves hitting the gym or pilates studio and cracking open a new book when I'm back home.
